We are asking Producers to enter their film into one of the following categories:
0. Other
1. Animation
2. Drama
3. Documentary
4. Open
5. Karen Karnak (open source filmmaker) Details here
Guidelines for Submissions
we have relaxed the guidelines as follows:
1. All films must be original works. Doesn't matter when (or where) they were made.
2. The Duration of the submitted works should be short film:
3sec – 12mins with longer films considered at the discretion of the judges.(even less than 3 sec is ok really)
3. The film must be submitted with basic production credits and contact
information, and clearances for music and images.
4. Each film should be submitted as a standard VIDEO-DVD. or to maximise your
chances of inclusion an extra data DVD with the film as quicktime, avi or mpg
(No fancy codex please- keep it simple H.264 is ok)
5. All entries must be received at the postal address (huff09 : p.o.bOX 4297 Ham east, HAMILTON, NEW ZEALAND)by 5pm, 11th August 2009.6. By entering your film you agree to allow HUFF to add your film to the DVD
compilation and disseminate the compilation at no cost to participating and non-participating filmmakers. (some copies will be sold on the door at the cost price of $5 ) The DVD is also free to be copied by anyone for non commercial purposes (strictly as a non-profit operation, the HUFF organisation operate within a D.I.Y ethic) as part of the dissemination process. The rights to the film remain with you.
