Transfigured nights: This film is probably one of the best films I've seen, and I've seen a lot of really great films. It's on par with 'Waiting for NESARA,' as a film that can be watched over and over again, especially to show friends! The director of this film has an extraordinary career track record of documenting and creating some of the best films I've seen. As a fan, I'm highly impressed! The wrapping scenes are pretty damn crazy. The housework scenes... I dunno, you just gotta see it. There is some really great footage that isn t in the trailer. As a professional film producer, novelty hunter and mad scientist; I hope that the world will recognize the film for the following groundbreaking accomplishments:

HUFF06-09 History: The Hamilton Underground film festival is in its fourth year of existence. Founded in 2006, the festival has so far been a showcase for over 100 locally made low-budget short films. During the past three years over 50 local filmmakers have submitted films for the festival, which in addition to providing locally based entertainment, have also featured on three compilation DVDS. The compilation DVDs, of which every film maker receives a free copy, have been sent around the world by the HUFF organisation to a variety of localised underground film festivals as well as emerging and established national and international filmmakers. Approximately 300 DVDs have been made and circulated in this manner. Extra copies are often made of the DVD for distribution by the filmmakers to any contact they may have in the underground film world. Last year (2008) the Hamilton Underground film festival managed to informally franchise itself manifesting as the fourth Hamilton Underground film festival in the Priorat region of Catalunya Spain- organised by Oscar Hidalgo. (see website address below for details) The two festivals were linked by a live internet connection midnight in Hamilton and midday in the village of Siurana (http://www.prioratcentredart.cat/prioratcentredart.htm) The website www.circuit47.com/huff contains further reading about the filmmakers as well as films shown at the previous festivals. HUFF09Broad outline of organisation: The event is organised by the OTATO COLLECTIVE, a loose affiliation of counter-cultural filmmakers which the festival is designed to showcase. Membership of OTATO is open to anybody; all you have to do is make a film. OTATO was inspired by the amount of interesting short films which have wormed their way out of Hamiltonian brains in the past few years and so a festival was created to celebrate this unseen creativity. Illusions magazine, a Wellington based New Zealand film publication, reviewed the Hamilton Underground Festival in its July 2007 issue, stating that the festival was a celebration of off-centre film from off-centre geographical locations. Thus is the psycho-geography which has inspired the formation of the HUFF festival. HUFF09 Broad outline of Event: The Hamilton Underground festival comprises of an open invite to local filmmakers to submit their short films, the production of a compilation DVD of the selected films, screening of the selected films at several locations around Hamilton, including the Waikato Museum of Art and history, and finally postal distribution of the compilation DVD to diverse local, national and international film industry contacts. The idea is that Hamilton filmmakers, by grouping together under a temporary common banner; the HUFF festival, can pool their resources, contacts and talents and achieve more than individualistic pursuits.
