Representing and archiving the work of over 200 sound artists since 1983
After 24 years of growing this online archive my hosting company (Blue Host) have decided that 776.18 Gigabytes and 136,786 files is abit too much for my 'unlimited' web hosting account. Originally set up in 2001, when dial up speeds defined 'unlimited' as very different than it is today, www.circuit47.com has served as an 'unsorted' / 'unedited' repository for independant music and soundscape art. Since the amount of dollars Blue Host wanted was way beyond our unfunded budget ($1800US per year), we have decided to downscale the archive and a selection of the 3,728 Mp3, 124 zip and 181 wav files saved here will be made available on a smaller 50Gig SSD server.
Feel free to download whatever you can salvage here, before the March 29th 2025 shutdown.
