Dr. Emit Snake-Beings has been making instruments and recording sounds since he was 13 years old - Starting with a home-made bass guitar and a casio VL-Tone. With the addition of a DiY reverb (made from a couch spring, record player cartridge and a small loud speaker), a second tape machine and a primative home-made mixing desk he found it possible to multi-track and layer sounds until the quality decayed and altered the frequencies into interesting, delightful and abrasive textured soups (later to be called de-compositions).

Later SnakeBeings travelled extensively, influenced by electronic gurglings in Japan, Balinese and Javanese Gamelan music and recorded sounds found and heard in the streets: often incorporating these recordings into the soundtracks of super 8 films using a process of editing and chaotic accident.

Circuit47.com is the archiving system for sound made by Dr. Emit Snake-Beings with numerous collaborators.
